Empowering Homeowners for 18 years in Real Estate!

This week is a very exciting week for me in Real Estate. I am celebrating 18 years of service in this industry. 

I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience home ownership. Over the years I have been connecting clients with the tools, networks, and knowledge of the industry, so that the decisions made are well thought out and educated. Empowering Homeowners, I work conscientiously to ensure that your vision is fulfilled. 

I have been a Full time Real Estate Broker for the last 18 years. Over those years I have seen many things;

• The ups and downs of the market,
• Seeing first time home buyers secure their dream of home ownership, 
• Being a part of estate sales and seeing the pain of selling the home of a loved one,
• Home no longer being home as part of separation or a divorce and more. 

There are plenty of other reasons to buy or dispose of real estate. Thankfully, the good times have far outweighed the bad and even during sad situations, I feel like I am making a difference. Each one of these situations requires a different set of skills. This is what makes the work as a Real Estate Broker exciting. It is also the reason I am always learning and growing to be of the best service I can be to the individuals and home owners I serve.

The most rewarding part is the smile and sincere thanks.

I have seen my clients build wealth through owning real estate, and this is what makes me so excited about the job that I have and I am so looking forward to the continued journey ahead. Side by side with people who trust me to guide them, answering their questions, hearing their frustrations and seeing them happy.

In the past 18 years I have learned to stop saying - "I've seen it all and done it all", because I am convinced, with each passing year, that I have so much more to learn and experience. Markets change, policies change, rules change and each situation is unique. Who would have thought we would be showing homes during a pandemic and in masks and gloves!?!

I remember, my late broker Barry Meckiffe, who was my mentor for the first few years in real estate, often said to me, when asked a question;

"I don't know Aneta…., let me get back to you on this..."

He would always get back to me, whatever it was I asked him about. I remember, as a new agent not really understanding, why a man who spent 40 years in the business, would not know the answer to.... whatever it was I was asking.

Today with 18 years of experience on my back, I know!

Realizing how quickly things change, unless I am certain, it is better to know where to find the right answers, than to give people wrong advice. Especially in the fast paced and emotional environment as Real Estate is.

With time, comes wisdom.

I am grateful and feel blessed.
